About Us
Largo Cracker Quilters, Inc. is a nonprofit organization serving approximately 65 quilters in Pinellas County, Florida.  The first meeting was held in a home in 1982.  Within a month they outgrew the space and moved to the First Baptist Church.  The next move was to the Largo library meeting room, and finally settling at St. Paul United Methodist Christian Life Enrichment Center.  We are a member of the National Quilting Association (NQA), the Sunshine State Quilters Association (SSQA) and the American Quilter's Society (AQS).

The Largo Cracker Quilters guild is made up of quilters of all skill levels from beginners to professional... Membership is open to all who are interested in quilting.

We strive to promote the love of quilts, to encourage others to learn the techniques, and to preserve the art of quilting.  Our purpose is to educate, share our skills, and to use our talents to serve the community.

We have a dedicated mission to volunteer each Friday at the Pinellas County historical park, Heritage Village. We demonstrate and discuss quilting in the fiber arts building for park visitors and Pinellas County school children. It is also our tradition to make quilts and quilted items to meet the needs of a variety of charitable institutions.
