The 2009 Quilt show Opportunity Quilt will be ready for quilting in January. The quilt theme is "Topiaries". The blocks have been pieced and appliquéd by members and the machine quilting will be done by Marlene Hooten on her long arm quilting machine.
We will be starting a Block of the Month in January or February. Marilyn Allison will be our BOM chairwoman. Each month the block will be on our web site. For fun, let's try to look into the history of each block.
The evening sit and sew is to start in February if we can find a place in Largo for this project. Will keep you posted on our progress.
